We work for an independent, sustainable and socially responsible energy supply through renewable energy sources. With our innovative storage solutions, we are helping to shape the energy network of tomorrow and are an active driver of the energy transition.
As one of the leading players on the German market, we cover the entire value chain for designing stationary battery storage systems: From site development to commissioning and handing over of the turnkey storage system. We combine our technical expertise with in-depth regulatory and energy industry know-how and thus place a particular focus on the development and optimization of multi-use strategies for storage systems.
At Kyon, we live an open, dynamic and friendly culture. We rely on clear communication, personal responsibility, team collaboration and mutual trust to achieve our ambitious goals. Our motivation to make a difference is what drives us.
Our entire team stands behind our vision of a sustainable and independent energy supply. Taking responsibility is therefore deeply rooted in our DNA and is lived every day - as an individual, in a team and as a company. In this way, we encourage each other to surpass ourselves.
As a team, we make the difference! We are united by the motivation to drive forward the energy transition - we work on that every day. Together we overcome challenges and celebrate our successes together - because that's how we create real change!
Our culture is based on authenticity: We are open, passionate, humorous and empathetic. We respect each other and create an atmosphere in which we are ready to move forward and move forward with our shared vision.
We work in a performance-oriented environment in which you can contribute your ideas and opinions and are encouraged to question and further develop processes. Our short decision-making processes and an active feedback culture support us in this.
Our project development is responsible for the site development of grid-connected battery storage systems from the outset. Starting with the greenfield analysis, they support the projects until they are ready for construction. In doing so, they take care of land security, grid connection planning and development of building rights, always taking into account network topological, environmental compatibility and construction law aspects.
Our project management team ensures that the implementation of our projects runs smoothly. They initiate implementation planning, involve relevant trades and continuously support our projects during the construction phase through to commissioning. In addition to actively managing schedule and budget planning, they are constantly working to eliminate project risks.
Our experts in the field of technology: The core task of the Technology & Purchasing team is to design the battery storage systems for our projects and to ensure a secure supply chain. Since Kyon Energy does not produce its own battery system, they are in constant contact with a wide variety of suppliers. They design the systems, define tenders and ultimately purchase the storage facilities.
The electrical team connects our battery storage systems to the grid. Their tasks include circuit diagram development and communication cabling, the approval of planned installations as well as the integration of control systems and final commissioning. They are also the point of contact for technical questions that go beyond the storage system.
Our Business Development & Regulatory Affairs team deals with all topics relating to storage business models. Among other things, they take care of marketing concepts for flexibility as well as current and future revenue streams for investments. Overall, they ensure that our storage systems provide the highest possible benefits for the energy transition, can operate within a reasonable regulatory framework and are also used economically.
The Transactions team plays an important role at Kyon when it comes to structuring, financing, selling or acquiring our storage projects. From contact with investors to financial modeling and project financing - the tasks of the Transactions team are diverse.
The Commerce Team brings everything together: This is where the departments of Marketing & Communications, Operations, People & Culture and Office Management meet. Together, they ensure that all business processes remain running, that external and internal communication is correct and that the entire Kyon team is able to do their best at work.
Finance & Accounting ensures that all commercial processes run smoothly - from bookkeeping to controlling and tax issues to detailed planning of corporate finances.
