No renewable energies without storage
The expansion of renewable energies is a key prerequisite for the energy transition. However, the current electricity infrastructure is not designed for the high volatilities - instability in the electricity grid, high prices and increased congestion are the result. To avoid this, renewable generation plants have to be switched off again and again. In 2023, this was just under 4% - an absolute amount of 10.47 TWh of electricity was lost as a result. This alone could have supplied over 2.99 million households for a year. Stabilizing the grid is essential. Our battery storage systems enable us to compensate for volatility and at the same time absorb more renewable energy in the electricity grid.
